Cycling's 'biggest doping scandal'

BBC SPORT | Cycling Some really quite solemn words from track cycling legend Chris Boardman on the current strife hitting the Tour de France.

Rahal junior set for GP2 switch

BBC SPORT | Motorsport | Formula One Good to see Graham Rahal taking his path to F1 very seriously and not just doing the normal American thing of staying at home and hoping the European teams come and get him. It just doesn't happen. Although I must add what is with that picture of him in this news article - it looks like a clip from a Pet Shop Boys' video!

Drugs in Cycling

BBC SPORT | Other Sport... | Cycling | Astana-Wurth team ready to race
I know drugs will never ever probably leave sport now. The financial gains of cheating are just far too great, but why is it that cycling seems to have a particularly great problem. It seems strange to me, as an observer rather than as someone who knows much about the sport, that there isnt the kind of money in it like there is in, say, track athletics so why do it. Maybe it's not as prevalent as it is portrayed but actually they are just very good at catching the cheats. Who knows - but no doubt we'll see more drugs stories in the news in the month ahead for the Tour de France.

Hospital dash for BB hunger strike Dawn

Big Brother - DS:BB A wonderful example of someone taking a game show far far far too seriously - does she not have anything better to do with her time. Very sad - not just her - but the whole situation really.

The trials of a small F1 team

F1 News > Grandprix.com Yet another interesting GP.com article - this one looking at MF1/Midland F1 Team and why it might well be the right time to sell. Not actually really sure what the article is getting at though - are they trying to say its encouraging to see this dutch consortium trying to join the sport, or are they saying there's little point because they'll never have a big team??
