Drugs in Cycling

BBC SPORT | Other Sport... | Cycling | Astana-Wurth team ready to race
I know drugs will never ever probably leave sport now. The financial gains of cheating are just far too great, but why is it that cycling seems to have a particularly great problem. It seems strange to me, as an observer rather than as someone who knows much about the sport, that there isnt the kind of money in it like there is in, say, track athletics so why do it. Maybe it's not as prevalent as it is portrayed but actually they are just very good at catching the cheats. Who knows - but no doubt we'll see more drugs stories in the news in the month ahead for the Tour de France.
