'Voting error' gave London Games

BBC SPORT | Other Sport A fantastic piece of bleating from an IOC member who doesn't fancy a visit to London. Granted Madrid is much nicer in lots of ways but too bad. No point crying over spilt milk - losers! Ha!

Flybe charge for bags

Channel Online | Jersey News Complete and utter theft by Flybe. I am enormously glad that I haven't flown with this bunch for ages and this will only put me off doing so any time in the future. Sadly it will no doubt put lots of other people off travelling too, but if they come to their senses as a result than that has to be a good thing.

The Super Aguri 2006 bid rolls on

BBC SPORT | Motorsport | Formula One
Would be lovely to think that F1 could put its differences behind it and get behind a team trying to join the sport (even if it does have Sato in its ranks) but of course there's no money in them doing that so I can't see it happening. Shame really but if they've not complied with the rules (by not having the ridiculous bond in place) then they were refused for good reason - still a shame though.

Gary Anderson & the V8 F1 rules

F1Racing.net Some very fair criticism about the new F1 regulations by people who should know what they're talking about. I have read lots of nonsense this week written by people who seem to think that every rule the FIA writes is wonderful just because they should have the sport's interests at heart. Well hello guys.....the processional races we've been subjected to the last few years are their fault so you should know by know they have no-ones interests in their minds apart from their own.

Super Aguri F1

BBC SPORT I can't decide if it's a great shame that this team got rejected, perhaps because Anthony Davidson would have got a race drive, or alternatively that I'm not bothered because Takuma Sato won't have. That said, I would be very suprised if they aren't allowed in because the Japanese market is an important one to the powers that be, so I think they'll be there somehow some way.
