Relief turns to fury at US mine

Relief turns to fury at US mine
A frankly shameful and tragic American balls-up. How could it be possible that someone puts a story out saying everyone is safe except forget to mention that all but one of these poor guys is dead. Questions are rightly being asked this morning about how this can happen - whomever is responsible should be ashamed.

Super Aguri again

From The Slow Lane: The Super Aguri 2006 bid rolls on
Hey - I'm not so proud that I won't link to my own posts. Ok I was wrong and it appears.......well it is rumoured maybe....that the 10 existing teams have signed up to Aguri bringing his team and his 4 year old cars to the grid. Personally, I can't wait to see how they perform, even if they are giving Sato a job. I would hate to see them pootling round at the back but could be what they will have to do for a few races. Certainly looking forward to their appearance though.

A question of timing

A question of timing
An interesting article about the African Nations Cup football tournament and how it fits badly into the European football schedule. Too bad really. You can't blame the Africans - if it suits them then they must do it then and too bad for european clubs. Maybe easy to say as I support a club without too many African players - maybe if i was a Bolton fan i might feel different
