X-lover??

Guardian Unlimited | The Guide A fantastic Charlie Brooker article about X-cruciating Factor. Best bit was "All he can do is yelp like a dog getting its prostate examined. By a vet with sandpaper hands" Classic writing

Williams' test driver role

GrandPrix.com > News > Priaulx would like to be a test driver Would be great to see Andy racing or at least testing in F1, but the point of this story is to show how tragic the situation must have got at Williams if they'll only take a driver who is bringing money. Sorry Frank, but if the guy isn't there on merit alone then he doesn't deserve to be there at all.

Turkish football violence - again

BBC SPORT | Football | Internationals | Swiss fury after Turkey violence What actually will it take for Turkey to be punished by UEFA or FIFA? It wasn't enough when that Leeds fan was murdered a few years ago. Racism seems to be excused with a slap on the wrist and last night once again the Turkish players have covered themselves in disgrace. Isn't it about time something was done? Oh no - i forgot - they're not English so they're fine.

C4 announces spoof space reality show

Digital Spy Let me get this right. So Mr Channel 4, you're going to have a spoof reality show but you're telling us all about it. Isn't it then just going to be a pointless non-joke because everyone who's in the show will already know about it - thanks to your own press releases. I'm very confused.

Overconfident???

BBC SPORT | Motorsport | Rosberg lines up F1 world title So Nico Rosberg is lined up a world championship is he?? Despite the teensy weensy little problem that Williams don't have a works engine lined up any time soon. Oh and the teensy weensy little problem that he has never yet raced in a GP let alone won one. Getting a little bit ahead of himself methinks.

New team bidding for F1 status

BBC SPORT | Motorsport | Formula One Great news to see a new team in F1 - even if they are Honda in everything but name. But Aguri has all the enthusiasm you could ever wish for so I wish him well. I'll wish him even more well if he gives Anthony Davidson the drive he has long deserved.
