Rickardsson, Hayden and Montoya

BBC SPORT | Motorsport | Motorbikes This was the first Moto Gp race I've watched all the way through in a few weeks, and sadly I didn't think it was all that exciting really. Sure Hayden was brilliant - there's no question about that. He destroyed the field but that made the race dull as dishwater.

Much like the British GP really. Montoya looked assured, confident and steady - not necessarily how he normally looks really - but he looked every inch a worthy winner. But it was dull....

And Tony Rickardsson won the Speedway GP yet again. Scotty Nicholls hardly put a wheel wrong in the qualifiers but made a mess of his semi again. In the qualifiers he showed his class and his potential for winning a GP, but he needs to make that final step up soon.
