Proposed changes to the rules for the 2008 Formula 1 World Championship
GrandPrix.com > News The Grandprix.com soapbox is clearly in full working order, although as always a lot of what they say is right. The F1 World Championship is dying - manufacturers are not happy with how its run, many are unhappy with their teams performance and boards are mainly unhappy about how much money is being spent - so spend less.
Nice and simple - the spectacle is the same - maybe allow innovations to go somewhere else, although arguably that's why Group C died in the 90s because technology went mad meaning that one manufacturer dominated and everyone else left.
Ultimately, the show has to be worth watching or everyone is going to look elsewhere. A fact that those behind A1 GP are no doubt only too aware of.
