Williams criticises partner BMW

BBC SPORT The ongoing marital problems between BMW and Williams took a possibly fatal turn yesterday with Frank Williams throwing his toys out the cot over BMW's past criticism of the team. I hate to say this but in some ways you can't help BMW. Williams have been a bit slack in recent years, and the way the team has been left with just Heidfeld and Webber as drivers really don't make it look like the top line operation it really should be.

I appreciate I might be in the minority in my opinion of Webber in particular but he certainly didnt blow Justin Wilson away and no-one's claiming he's a future world champion. (Incidentally, that probably doesnt make life look any better for Sebastien Bourdais over in Champ Cars - again not looking much better than anyone this season).

Anyway - i digress - if Williams want to be treated like a top ranked team again then they need to look like it, and as a result must sign a genuine top quality driver asap. Whether Jenson Button is that man remains to be seen.....
