Oh my god there are fights in Ice Hockey. Well bloody hell.....no-one told me. "The punch" as the US press insists on calling it emphasising the fact that NOTHING like this has ever happened before (cynical....moi???)

For crying out loud - it's a game where punch-ups are celebrated and punished simultaneously and somehow fired up players are expected to control themselves when the team mates are set upon by another player and then not punished. I'm not condoning what happened but it's been coming for years.

This next one is sooo funny MSNBC comment. Some jackass manages to put in the same article comments about "the dirtiest moment in the history of the game" and yet insisting that fighting is necessary because they're wearing ice skates and helmets. Oh right....mind out next time you see someone on an Ice Rink. They might be looking for you.
